In 2011, Barton and Gladue met and went to a hotel to have sex. They exchanged phone numbers and met the next night again.
However, Gladue’s dead body was found in the bathroom the next morning. She was naked at the time of her death.
Later, Bradley admitted that the sex was rough, but it was consensual. He did not know he’d hurt her at the time and was shocked to find her dead in the morning.
But, the prosecutors claimed Gladue was too drunk to give consent as Cindy had more than 4 times the legal limit of alcohol in her bloodstream.
