Skilyr Hicks was a singer and songwriter who appeared on America’s Got Talent in 2013 where she was then just 14 years old. Her death has shocked her fans, friends and family across the world.
According to TMZ reports, Skilyr Hicks was found dead on 6th December 2021 in the house of a friend.

Skilyr Hicks’ cause of death has not yet been confirmed. As to why and how she died is still unknown. However, her mother Jodi told the authorities that her daughter battled mental health issues that involved substance abuse and depression.
She also added that her daughter used music as a form of escape and also to help people while she was alive.
“We will live through here music,” Jodi shared.
