Please Leave Me Alone We Are Sleeping TikTok Song Explained
To be direct, the song named ‘Please Leave Me Alone We Are Sleeping’ is not even a song.
It is a song, technically, but originally it was a conversation between two people discussing a house rental. The 30-year-old artist named Lubalin got the conversation exchange from the OldPeopleFacebook Subreddit and created it as a dramatic or even funnier song as reported by In The Know.
Lubalin was looking for a big break and was trying to make his name in pop music. But, he was also trying to get media attention. So, when he saw the conversation, he decided to make it a song.
Later, he also filmed himself dramatically as both characters to make the video even more interesting. Lubalin, who was only a minor celebrity a few weeks ago, has now gained over 1.8 million followers on TikTok.
Please Leave Me Alone We Are Sleeping Lyrics Explained
As said earlier, since it is about a text message, the lyrics of the song ‘Please Leave Me Alone We Are Sleeping’ is a text conversation.
In the text, a person responds to the rental home advertisement by saying if the home was available. The advertiser responds with a resounding yes. Then, after a few hours, the first-person replies ‘Please Leave Me Alone We Are Sleeping’. When asked with a “?” symbol, the first person asks the other person to not contact him again.
When the advertiser confronts the man, the first person in rage replies that he was no longer interested in the deal. He even threatened to call the Attorney General if the advertiser didn’t stop contacting him. And, that is all said in the lyrics.
Lubalin made it a song and created the video with the text message. Later, he also created a similar video as part two. In the second part, he covered an exchange between two women one claiming the other stole her Broccoli recipe.
