John Venables is a convicted murderer who had brutally murdered a two-year-old boy James Patrick Bulgar who was born on March 16, 1990, in Kirkby, Merseyside, England.

On February 12, 1993, James was abducted, tortured, and murdered by two 10-year-old boys.

He, alongside his friend, had snatched James Bulger from the New Strand Shopping Centre in Bootle when his mother was busy shopping.

After two days, they murdered the little boy and threw it on a railway, 2.5 miles away in Walton, Liverpool.

On February 20, 1993, the boys were charged with abduction and murder and found guilty of the crime on November 24.

These were the youngest convicted murderers in modern British history and were sentenced to detention at Her Majesty’s pleasure until a Board decision.

Later in 2001, at the age of 18, they got released on a lifelong license as per the recommendation but again in 2010, Jon Venables got arrested for breaching the terms of his license and was released in 2013.

Again in November 2017, he was sent to prison for possessing a child abuse image on his computer.

His parents never knew their son to come out that way.

The murder story of the little boy is heartbreaking. Jon, alongside Robert, walked James for two and a half miles, took him to a railway line.

They tortured, sexually assaulted him, even poured modeling paint into his eyes, and clubbed him with bricks before leaving on the railway to be hit by a train.

On the way to the railway, they stated to the passers that James was their younger brother and that he was lost and took him to a local station.

Jon Venables was given a second identity following release from prison in 2013, but he has made himself engaged in maximum crime so far.

On February 7, 2018, he was jailed for 40 months for possessing more than 1000 indecent images of children, for which he had paid 5 million Pounds.

As of now, he could be in prison for the rest of his life until parole decides to free him up if no risk is found.

In January 2018, James’ mother, Denise Fergus, put on a public inquiry into the toddler’s murder, which shows she could not be recovered from her lovely son’s passage.
