Pete Rose married Karolyn Englehardt on January 25, 1964, and the couple had two children, daughter Fawn (1964) and son, Pete Rose Jr (1969). The couple divorced in 1980. In 1979, a paternity suit was filed naming Rose as the father of Morgan Erin Rubio.
In the 1996 settlement of the lawsuit, Rose acknowledged that Rubio was his daughter.
