Carli Miles rose to popularity in the media after marrying late MLB pitcher Tyler Skaggs. Tyler died, and their happy marriage came to an end.
Tyler’s marriage lasted only a year before he died tragically young. Carli has remained largely silent after her husband’s death. Carli was born in California on January 26, 1987. Nina Miles and Alan Miles are her parents.
The couple got engaged after dating for several years. The pair eventually decided to marry after some time had passed.
In a small ceremony on December 4, 2018, they exchanged vows. Carli and her mother Nina have their own travel company, Miles 2 Travel, which draws on their “own travel experiences to provide first-hand recommendations and deliver expertly crafted itineraries to clients”.
Carli told Wealth Management being a “so-called baseball wife has a stress all of its own”. She added: “Since Tyler’s regularly on the move, we lack that traditional stability.”
The couple bought a home in Santa Monica and planned to start a family. However, Carli said she could never bring herself to move in but still visited just to “hang out there”.
Carli is on Instagram but her account @carskaggs is set to private. The last photo Tyler uploaded of the couple came on Valentine’s Day 2019. He shared a photo with Carli writing: “Happy Valentine’s Day to the love of my life.”
