Born November 18, 2002, in Washington DC, Williams plated high school football at Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C.
In his junior years, he passed for 1,770 yards with 19 touchdowns and rushed for 838 yards with 18 touchdowns, and was named MVP at the Elite 11 finals.
After first committing to the University of Oklahoma, Williams played backup in his true freshman season, then later went back to his starting quarterback position.
He completed his freshman year with 21 passing touchdowns, 6 rushing touchdowns, and 4 interceptions.
During a game with the Texas Longhorns, Williams led his team to a 55–48 win.
His career at Oklahoma ended with 212 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, 88 yards rushing, and a rushing touchdown.
In 2022, Williams was transferred to USC, to play under coach Lincoln Riley. He became the starter and team captain of the Trojans.
