Bill Watts, Jr. (born May 5, 1939) is a former professional wrestler and promoter in the United States. Watts was known in wrestling for his “Cowboy” persona and later as a strong, no-nonsense promoter in the Mid-South region of the United States, which evolved into the UWF. He was the Executive Vice President of World Championship Wrestling in 1992, but he left after clashing with management over a variety of problems and felt pressured by Hank Aaron over a racially sensitive piece of communication. Ole Anderson took his position, and Eric Bischoff took his place after that.
