Andrea Kelly (born Andrea Danyell Lee, January 28, 1974), also known as “Drea”, is a choreographer, dancer and actress. She is best known for being R. Kelly’s ex wife and the mother of his three children; the couple got divorced in 2009 after almost 13 years of marriage. Andrea made her public debut in 2012 for the VH1 reality series Hollywood Exes and by later starring in her first featured film, “Before ‘I Do'”.
Personal life and background
Andrea Danyell Lee was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 28, 1974. In 1996, Drea married singer-songwriter R. Kelly, with whom she has three kids: Joann (b. 1998), Jay (b. 2000, as Jaya) and Robert, Jr.(b. 2002). She changed her last name from Lee to Kelly. In 2014, Andrea Kelly married 36-year-old barber and R&B singer Brian Mckee, whom she divorced after just two months of marriage after finding out he was having an affair with a man. Later that year, her youngest daughter, Jaya, announced that he is a transgender-male on social site Instagram and that he has changed his name to Jay.
