Andre Darnell Reed (born January 29, 1964) is a former professional American football player who played in the National Football League. During his 16 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), he played wide receiver with the Buffalo Bills (1985–1999) and the Washington Redskins (1999–2000). (2000). Reed was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014, after being eligible for consideration for eight years. Reed has 951 career catches, which places him ninth all-time in NFL history. When the Buffalo Bills celebrated their 50th season in 2009, Reed was named to the team’s All-Time Team.
