Alex Harvill was planning to jump 351 feet in the air on his motorcycle.

He died in an accident while attempting to break a record. He was practicing for his jump.

Alex Harvill Dead At Age 28

Alex Harvill, 28, when the accident occurred, he was practicing at the Grant County International Airport in Moses Lake, Washington.

Alex was immediately taken to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake.

A video was taken during the time of the accident. It was shot from a far distance. Alex can be seen on his bike.

Harvill resided in Ephrata, Washington. He is married and has two sons.

He also did motocross and supercross racing.

Alex Harvill World Record

Alex was trying to set a new jump record at the Moses Lake Airshow on Thursday morning. It was the first scheduled event of the three-day show.

He was attempting to break the distance record for the longest motorcycle jump.

It was set at 351 feet by Robbie Maddison in March 2008.

Alex is the Guinness World Record holder for dirt-to-dirt distance jump

In 2012 Harvil also set a world record for ramp-to-dirt distance jump.

Alex’s Family Details

Alex was married to Jessica Harvill. 

Together, Alex and Jessica gave birth to two beautiful children.

Just last month, on the 28th of May, Alex has had a son named Watson. Harvill was so happy to welcome his child to the world.

The name of their children is Willy and Watson. Alex used to take Willy on cycling and event to his training.

Details on Alex’s parents are not available.

In an Interview, Harvill wrote, “I’ve been riding since I was 4, but before that, I would ride on the front of my dad’s bike.”
